Hello all! Even though this is extremely cliché, I just want to introduce my blog on this first post.
My blog is intended to give people a real taste of what Downeast life is like. It is incredible how unique this area is and I believe locals take some things for granted while others may not quite understand the heritage and tradition some people here hold. My goal for this blog is to bridge the gap of understanding. I am sharing what life is here from my local, yet removed perspective. I am hoping to blog about everything and anything local such as history, artists, businesses, musicians, community events, traditions, weather and anything miscellaneous that is applicable to life here.
Even though I attend business school right outside Boston during the year, I keep home on my mind throughout my time away. My plan is to blog during my winter break and during the summer when there are a series of events for tourists to attend.
