I had to run some errands today which entailed going out in the snow. I bundled up with my L.L. Bean boots, coat and ACORN socks. I want to emphasize on the ACORN socks. These are no ordinary socks. They are made with breathable, lightweight fleece. Not only are they warm but they come in all sorts of funky designs. Even though these were designed for indoor use, I wear them with my boots anyhow.

ACORN is a company based in Lewiston, Maine (two and a half hour drive from me). They manufacture quality indoor and outdoor footwear. Astronauts have worn ACORN socks on their outer space missions. This has boosted ACORN’s popularity and reputation.
Even though Christmas is over, I really want these slippers. They look super warm and durable.
