I only have one day off per week so it is crucial to plan my day out. This week has been rough for me considering I have had to wake up at 6:40am every morning which I have not done since grade school. Therefore, I am planning a low-key trip to
Holbrook Island Sanctuary which is located in my very own town of Brooksville. Sunday is expected to be partly cloudy with a high of 60. This is not exactly ideal weather however, I will take it over this rain.

Pebble Beach |
It may be a little cold to chill out on the beach however there are three trails at the sanctuary which I am more than excited to hike. I have not hiked one of these trails since I was a junior in high school. Even though I live in the same town, I have not really taken advantage of all the great things this state park has to offer.

There are other things you can do at this small state park such as swim, birdwatch, sea kayak and fish. It is one of the most overlooked Maine state parks. I highly recommend a visit if you have not already gone.
